Where does the time really go? I think about posting my cards here almost everyday but I never get down to doing it. There's always something else that needs to be done. Here's some cards to share.

This card is my contribution for a monthly card swap. Love the color of the paper! Everytime I look at this card, it always makes me smile.

Cardstock: PaperTrey Lemon Tart and Summer Sunrise
Ribbon: PaperTrey Summer Sunrise Twill
Others: Judykins Glaze, Stickles, Copic Markers

This is one of my favorite cards. Love PTI ribbon and paper!
Cut cardstock as how you would do with a normal card. This card is 5.5 inches by 8inches. Fold it in half. Using sticky tape, I taped the side where the opening of the card is and the bottom. Measure patterned paper on the front, adhere to cardstock. Using a 1 1/4circle punch, I positioned the punch towards the middle of the card before punching it out. I stamped my sentiment on a piece of cardstock before using my rectangle nestibilities to cut it out. Layer it with 2 pieces of cardstock. Using a strip of ribbon, I wrapped it around the middle of the card, ending behind the sentiment. Adhere. This is to hide the ends of the ribbon. Cut another piece of cardstock, punch a hole in the middle of it, tie a ribbon and the card is done.

Stamps: PaperTrey Birthday Sentiments
Cardstock: PaperTrey Berry Sorbet, Soft Blush.
Patterned Paper: PaperTrey 6X6 patterned paper pads
Others: Ribbon; PTI, Nestibilities

This was the first card I made using my scor-pal. Love it! It really makes it so easy to score paper! I've used it for other things since then, but sadly, I forgot to take a picture of it before I gave them away. Do you know that USPS now charge $0.20 on top of normal postage to send cards in a clear envie?! One of the cards I sent in a clear envie got returned to me with a note about additional postage.

Stamps: Owl set ; CC Designs (All That Scraps)
Cardstock: SU! Chocolate Chip, Old Olive
Others: Brads by Pink Hedgehog brads share

Look out in a couple of days for the new SU! colors. Just got the new SU color papers in! Wasn't sure if the ink pads were worth getting, so i hold it off for now. But I think I'm gonna have to get Kiwi Kiss for sure. It's a great color!

A-Muse-A-Palooza Challenge

I have a card to share today. It's one that i made for Amuse Palooza challenge host by Taylor VanBruggen. The challenge was to create a card with an Amuse stamp and it has to have some bling on it. On saturday i had some time so i decided to play along and make something. In the last Secret girlfriend swap that i joined over at SCS, my secret sis sent me a whole box of goodies and in it was an Amuse stamp, spring chick by elzybells. So it was perfect to use for this challenge.

It took some time to put the little rhinstones on each scalloped area of the square. They don't have adhesive on the back of them, so i used my quickie glue pen to adhere them. The rhinestones were bought from Taylored Expressions called Tiny Twinkles. She doesn't have any more in stock, but i think she might get somemore soon. Image is colored with copics. I love my copics. They make coloring images so easy and look so good! I'm really happy how this card turned out. It's such a cheery color. Hope this card made you smile!

Supplies:

Stamps: PTI Polka Dot Basics, Spring chick by Elzybells
Ink: PTI Summer Sunrise, Brilliance Black
Paper: GP White, PTI Summer Sunrise
Accessories: Square Nestibilities, ribbons from ROBOM(Ribbons and bows oh my!), copics

I do have to try to post more often. I have so many pictures of cards i've made, but never got around to editing it and posting. This one was made for Mother's Day. I love this set by PaperTrey, Garden of Life. It is such a versatile set and because it's clear, it's easy to line the images up.

Stamps: PTI Garden of Life, PTI Beautiful Bloom
Cardstock: PTI Summer Sunrise, Lemon Tart, White CS
Ink: PTI Summer Sunrise, SU Certainly Celery
Embellishments: PTI Lemon Tart Satin Ribbon, glitter

This is another card i did with the penguin image. He's so perfect for summer! As i finished up the last card, i spied a bottle of sand out of the corner of my eye. It was in a corner among all my craft stuff. About a year ago, we were on a beach somewhere in the north shore where turtles come up to sun and i had taken some sand from the beach to use on a card someday. Well, this is the day! LOL.. I used terrifically tacky tape on the edges of the patterned paper. I love that tape. That's the best thing to use if you want a permanent bond. Have a wonderful week!

May's Card

I'm the host for May in the monthly card swap i'm in. I chose this penguin stamp which i got from ATS. Isn't he cute? And that paper is from ATS too. Stamp is by imaginisce and paper by Flair Design.

Card base is SU! Barely Banana, image is layered with SU! Close to Cocoa, image is colored with copics. I love copics! They make coloring so much easier and i love the vibrant colors they come in. Patterned paper is sponged with brilliance brown ink to give some contrast with the card base.

I had extra images which I've colored and i've just got a great idea in my head! Gonna go try it out now. I'll let you know how it went. Sometimes ideas in the head looks better than when you actually put it to paper. Til then, Thanks for looking!

I would like to share another card today. I bought this set from My Favorite Things a few months ago and it has yet to see ink. So i thought i'll blow the dust off it and ink up a couple of images. When i saw the sentiment for this set, i knew i had to make a card with that sentiment for my sister. "Sisters and Chocolate make life bearable" It brings back memories of my sister and I having chocolate fondue in a Haagen Dazs cafe many years ago. Yumm! Just thinking about it made my mouth water!
They brought us a selection of fruits (strawberries, apples, blueberries, grapes, banana) together with cubes of your favorite ice cream and a nice warm pot of chocolate sauce. Oooooh...
And what makes this card even better is a card scent from Simply Sista's. Bought the Pikake scent and Hot Cocoa. Oh my goodness.. when it came, i was blown away by how real they smell! The Hot Cocoa scent would be perrrrfect! for this card!

This is a birthday card made specially for my MIL. She's a very special person and the best MIL one could ever ask for. She introduced me to paper crafting 4 years ago and ever since then i've been addicted to it. I've always and still am awed by the cards she sends me, appreciating the time she takes to make them.
For this card, i used PaperTrey's Out on a Limb set, Birthday Basics, March new colors, Sweet Blush and Berry Sorbet. The stem is stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Chocolate. I love this color of brown and use it all the time. It has a sparkle look to it and i love the rich brown color. Glitter is added to the middle of random flowers.

Happy Easter!

This is my easter card this year. Decided to go with something more spring-looking. Actually this card came about because of the patterned paper. I loved the paper! It's from the collection For Peep's Sake by Imaginesce. I stamped the image with Brilliance Black and colored it with copic markers. The scalloped edge is done with a corner rounder. The chick is flocked, though you can't see it in the picture. I do need to get a new camera or a photo box. I find it so hard to take decent pictures with proper lighting. Any suggestions?

I do hope all of you had a wonderful Easter! Happy Easter!

Supplies:
Stamp: Inkadinkado
Ink: Brilliance Black
Paper: Aqua Mist ; PaperTrey, Spring Fling ; Imaginesce
Others: Copic Markers, Aqua Mist Satin Ribbon, Corner rounder punch

Lauren's Saturday Sketch

I finally tried out Lauren's Saturday Sketch. You can see it here. It's the first card sketch i ever participated in. The rules were just to keep it simple. = )
A few days ago, i was making my mother-in-law a birthday card (which i can't post here yet til she gets it or it wouldn't be a surprise) and i was going to have patterned paper and ribbons on it, when after i stamped the focal image, i liked how it looked with just 1 layer, i decided to keep it that way. I hope she likes it!

Supplies:
Stamps: Spiral Bouquet ; PaperTrey
Ink: Spring Moss, Sweet Blush, Berry Sorbet; PaperTrey , Always Artichoke; SU!

My Favorite Bella

Isn't she cute! When I first saw Cupcakebella, i knew i had to get it! You can find it here.
She's colored with copic markers and twinkling H2Os. Twinkling H2Os are awesome. They leave a nice shimmering look on the paper. The cupcake is colored with Twinkling H2Os and the lining is paper pierced. This card has a different fold to it. It opens in the middle. Cardstock is cut 4.25 by 11, scored at 2.75 and 8.25. I used the large rectangle and scalloped nestibilities. A dew drop is added as the "cherry" to the cupcake. You can find them at Ellen Hutson shop here.
Thanks for looking!

Stamps: Cupcakebella ; Stamping Bella
Ink: Brilliance Black

Christmas

I know Christmas is long over and Spring is here, but i've just found these photos of projects which i did around Christmas as gifts so thought i'll just share them.

This is an altered tea tin which i got from PaperTrey. They make great gifts! I made one for my Mom and MIL.

Supplies:
Stamps: Holiday Treats are from PaperTrey Ink.
Ink: Brocade Blue, Night of Navy
Paper: Night of Navy, Soft Sky, patterned paper;from my stash
Embellishment: Brads were from a bulk buy share by Pinkhedgehog. Ribbons ; American Crafts

This is a tin which i got from Papertrey. They make perfect Christmas gifts for the office! I did like 10 of these for people in the office. Filled them with some of my favorite chocolates, Ferraro Rocher and Hershey Nuggets! Tutorial on decorating these tins can be found on Nichole's blog here. The snowflakes are stamped randomly with silver ink and glue pad and glitter is poured onto the snowflakes stamped with glue to give it a hint of sparkles but not overwhelming.

Supplies:
Stamp: Snowflake Serenade; Papertrey
Ink: Brocade Blue, Brilliance starlight silver, Tsukineko essential glue pad
Paper: Soft Sky
Others: Ribbon; my LSS, Tin; PaperTrey

These notebooks were my Christmas gifts for my Sunday School kids. The letter on the front are their first initials. Blue is for the boys and pink is for THE girl. Yup, you read it right. There's only 1 girl in my class this year. But there are 8 boys. So you can imagine the ruckus in class every sunday. But they're so fun to be with.

Supplies:
Stamps: Ambassador Monogram, Borders & Corners (Circle) ; PaperTrey, SU Typeset Uppercase
Paper: Regal Rose, Brocade Blue, Night of Navy
Ink: Regal Rose, Brocade Blue, ColorBox Baby Blue

I Did It!

I've been considering doing this for some time and finally i did! During Sell-a-bration, they had too good of a deal to pass up and i just had to take the plunge.
After a "long" 4 day wait for the starter kit, it finally came! I had SO much fun unpacking the box and looking at all the goodies!

This idea was cased from a friend. I changed certain elements like the wings of the ladybug and the words. This was made for a secret sister swap i'm in. The only times i have bursts of inspiration is when i have someone to make a card for.

Supplies:
Stamps: SU! Trees' chic (background), Stampendous make a flower, Words are from Papertrey Spiral flower set; Ink : SU Purely Pomegranate ; Cardstock: SU Pomegranate, Brazzil Black, Stampers Select White (papertrey) ; Others: Twinkling H2Os

This was made awhile back for a very dear friend of mine. The picture's quality not that great as my stamping area doesn't have very good lighting.

Supplies:
Ink: Brilliance Black, Copic Markers, H2O paint pots
Stamps: Elzybells
Cardstock: Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Papertrey Stampers Select White Cardstock
Others: Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder,Scallop Punch, Circle Nestibilities, Ribbon's from my LSS.
